Importance of the Initiative

  1. In alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and the ambitious “Afaq” vision of the Ministry of Education for higher education, which seeks to achieve the highest standards of quality and academic accreditation in universities.
  2. Achieving full institutional accreditation serves as an important means of establishing and enhancing King Faisal University’s reputation and standing at both the institutional and programmatic levels, nationally and internationally. It motivates prospective students and partners to engage with the university and represents an effective tool to elevate and sustain the quality of higher education.
  3. Meeting the required institutional quality standards reinforces the culture of quality and continuous development at the institutional level. This contributes significantly to building trust in the university’s outputs, aligning them with the Kingdom’s development programs and labor market needs, and enhancing its reputation and standing among all stakeholders and beneficiaries.
